Hi again folks, another quick question (sorry!) I hope you can help me with... I'm about to order these bobbins, it says check whether you need a 10mm bolt size or 6mm bolts depending on which model they are fitted to. Mines an 2006 and I have no idea which ones I need, any ideas please? Cheers

you sure it's not asking for pitch rather than length? 6mm is a very short bolt.

You need an M8 bolt for the Blade and for most other bikes for that matter.

The link shows no fixing bolts in the picture so looking at the price probably doesn't include them.

The option of 6mm or 10mm is probably just what size hole is drilled through the middle, so in your case get the 10mm and source your own M8 Bolts.

If it were me I'd buy the Evotech one's instead.

Keep in mind not all standards work with the bobbins on the blades ... I've got Evotech on my MY10 and the stand isn't wide enough for the bobbins to sit properly in the hooks

Blade swing arm is bad for that!! I had to reverse one side of my stands to get it to fit

Just put Stand on side Put ya foot on one side and bend it wider with your hands on the other side.

Sounds rough as fek but your only talking 5mm tops and works a treat if you have narrow non adjustable stands.

    Yes mate, you are.

The bolts the OP will need to source will have a slightly bigger un-threaded portion to them around 15mm long at the top of the bolt which may also need a chamfered head depending on how the bobbins have been manufactured.
This is the bit that will sit inside the Bobbin.
Sourcing these locally for the OP may prove difficult hence my recommendation to buy a ready to rock pair. ;)
