Prepare for the joy when she runs up and gives you a big spontaneous hug. Believe you me they soon wheedle their way in there, and my youngest only had from the age of 6 to start working on me :D

    Oh yes and prepare for the time when she discovers boys and you realise they are the same as you were at their age ;)
