Can you fit one of these to an 07 without chopping bits? Wiring it is not an issue but I'm not sure about the space required.
I'll let you know dude... I just youtubed it to see what you were talking about and i want one !! I withhold from using my horn through fear of embarrassment.. Its like a man letting out a scream ! You just don't do it !
i had a stebbel nautilus fitted on my car, they don't last very long at all, they seize up with the slightest bit of moisture .i had to refit my old car horn within a year.
Have one of these fitted to my fazer. Me & a mate fitted them together about 5 years ago & they are still going strong (& loud). Really handy & a life saver if you commute to London. I separated the horn itself from the compressor & connected with some tubing. Will be trying to work out how to fit one to my RA9 ASAP!
Cheers for the info, if I fit one I will bear it in mind. Didn't know they could be separated, will also help with keeping the crud off it if I can hide bits out of the way. I will have to see if I can sneak one past the wife
Wow Stebel are a bunch of t**ts. In the past you could easily separate the two bits, but they now glue/araldite the f**k out of it in what must be an attempt to stop people doing it. I did manage to get it apart, but the motor/compressor came to bits as well. Fortunately I have managed to put the compressor back together and it seems to run OK, but I need another set of hands to check if it is actually bunging out air or just spinning. As they say a picture tells a 1,000 words so this is how much glue they now use, and also a youtube video to show how easy it used to be.
