Yes bought 5w synthetic motul from opie.. Did think the synthetic stuff seemed thinner than the Matris 5w stuff that came with the cartridge kit
Sounds good, tape over holes when seals slide on, watch seal driver does not strike edge of seal when driving home. May help.
Yes exactly Arthur.. This time I was super careful and the seal was treated like a baby haha.. No pits or marks so can only guess that something has went wrong with the outer tube and it's slightly oval.. Debris on a ride I guess may have caused some unseen damage
Possible yes, Id rather have an OEM re done than use a paten part, sure you will, all sound good mate so guess your unlucky. Try the spring trick, works on problem forks, make sure you snip the female end of the spring
