Looking around for a gear indicator for my RR4 and the GI pro looks like a good one, are they good? Where do they plug into loom?

Look good and easy to set up and use! The later model plugs into the diagnostic plug might be the same for yours

They are spot on mate. Plug and play basically. Simplest thing in the world to set up. They plug into the DLC conector. That is the data link connector. On the rr6 its behind the left hand side fairing coloured red. Not sure where it is on the rr4, but it will tell you on your destructions, or better still someone on here will know exactly where it is. Hope this helps

Healtech manual says behind LH fairing. Same for 04-07 so at the top lh side by the fuses and indicator relay on my 07

The white plug in the centre of this photo is gipro cable, and the red bit going into it is the diag socket. Yours will probably have a protective cap over the diag socket.

Ignore the numbered bits as the photo was for a different question.

Guys, what colour would you go for? I've read that the red one is the preferred choice as it is the most readable in all conditions...

I went for Red .. It's good, but I would go for another colour if I had to choose again.

Yea thought that might b a pain but has to b done , follow the loom suppose u cant go wrong , suppose possitioning of display is matter of preference whether left side of clocks or upper right side them
