Aftermarket Caliper Bolts

    Anyone replaced their caliper bolts and had to cut them down. Got a set of race spec from Pro Bolt but are 10mm to long and bottom out on standard calipers. Just wondering if I've received the right size or need to cut them down.

    I've got stainless steel race spec bolts from Probolt on mine and they're the same size as originals,perfect fit. Did you order wrong size or have they sent you wrong ones?

    Ordered exactly the same Stainless steel race spec as well as other bolts which were all fine, maybe sent the wrong ones! Will email them cheers

    I got sent a wrong axle nut from them once,it can happen,they rectified it quickly tho.

    Nooo dude, you shouldn't have to cut down anything model specific from pro bolt ! 10mm is a big difference, ring them up mate, they are quick to sort it out !

    And stop copying me ;) haha

    I haven't sheared any bolts :D
    I got my Helmet first :)
    My bike has always been Black :rolleyes:
    And I can't afford the rear Shock :(

    Should have got titanium! Stainless are heavier then standard and you're adding more unsprung mass :(

    You'll have been sent the bolts for the bigger race discs so the calipers need spacers and hence longer bolts.
