Is this brake hose OK

    Would you not be tempted to take a dremmel or junior hacksaw to that lug and run the line on the opposite side? Just a thought!

    Nope want to leave as much original bits as possible. When I get a job sorted I'll get a new hose made up to solve it permanently.

    Hi sorry to hear about your current situation, I hope something turns up for you soon. Regarding your rear brake hose- I'm having new braided brake lines fitted on my bike today RR4 so my OEM ones will be spare. If you'd like me to put the rear in the post yo you pm me your address.

    They have a different connector, if you look close they both have a 90 degree bend in it which is the one I will eventually replace it with :)

    Thanks for the offer it's very kind. I'm going to leave it as is now and sort a custom replacement one later :)

    90 degree bend is the way forward, fits with no shims to heel guard.

    This is what I like about this forum, it's not a pissing competition, look what I've got, mines better/fast than yours( unless it's a Repsol) lol.

    Genuine people offering sound advise to make another riders bike safer and offering hope on the job front.
