Bleeding is straight forward. If you're not that confident just do a dry run on the bike, find the bits on the bike you need and practice the sequence. Once you have removed the fairings bits doing it slowly, you should complete the simple front abs bleed in less than an hour (this excludes the front power unit)

I hope to fit braided line this weekend on my ABS this weekend, if the kids give me anytime to myself.

    Hey derchef,

I had found this last weekend after getting some issues with Colin's abs bike not doing as it should!
We had some back n forth with slick (cheers again mate) to try and get some answers about what the bike was doing but it's just easier to have the answers in front of you and the ability to flick back n forth depending on what the diagnostics were telling us! :)

Hopefully with the troubleshoot section you both will get it sorted!

    Hi guys here,
I'm just new to this forum and I have a german 2009 Blade with ABS (ABS-ECU was : 38600-MFL-D02) which I upgraded last year with the better braking ECU of the 2012 newer modell (38600-MGP-D11).

Is my assumption right that when I do the brake fluid bleeding I have to go according to the 2013 procedures?
The bleeding process depends on the electronics version as the brake Abs hardware is the same between model year 2009 and 2014 ??

    Can anyone comfirm please?

The navigation pane is there on the left, you might have to click the little black arrow thing near the top to expose it... this copy you can use the search facility to find what you're looking for ;)

Try my links chap - it has a working navigation pane and you can search the document - a lot of these manuals being posted are only scanned images which means you can't actually search the document

I’ve a 2009 Blade, do I have to get the valve clearances done at 13000 miles? If so how much will it cost?

Think Honda specify every 16k, as to whether or not to do it depends on who you ask. Ex honda service trained guy who did the MOTs and bits on my 07 that I couldn't said don't bother until 32k as he never had one need that needed adjusting.

Price wise about 2 years ago he quoted me £300.
