import or not import

    never really thought about this till the other day, I have an my13 Repsol blade bought from a honda dealer. Just want to know the bike has white led running lights in the corner of each wing mirror. Which are constantly on. One of my mates says it is an American import ? Anybody enlighten me. Can't see a uk honda dealer selling me an import as they would get stripped of the dealership
    Anybody have an my 13 ?

    All the newer models with the indicators in the mirrors have them, unless....

    Not really took note of any other 13my blades when I've seen them

    my 11 plate blade has the daylight running lights on the mirrors and it's a uk bike. I was the first owner. All blades from 10/11 plate have these

    So no it's not a US import but standard

    definitely an import your be down on power over UK spec due to US emission laws plus I'd run a tank of 4 star through it every now and again US bikes aren't used to UK fuels and tend to surge when going past fast food outlets.

    he might have some aftermarket mirrors...... the internals of those things can be a right pile of crap inside....I bought some replacement ones and the "white Leds" flashed when you used indicators but didn't light up when used on their own.....

    As above, my 2008, 2012 and 2014 have all had them :) Maybe your mates bike is an import!

    Didn't buy it from Hunts! But it was supplied buy them.
    Always been good with parts & always managed to squeeze some discount out of them.
