16k Service...

    In for 16k service today... Was going to have the valves checked, but they can't fix the ABS and do valve clearance at same time (ABS needs hot engine apparently. Values need it cold). So no values, but its their recommendation that it sounds fine when they listen to it so valves next service instead.

    Hopefully the ABS will be fixed... again...

    Will ned new front brake pads and possibly a drive chain tho... Sigh... £££

    Why don't they do the valves first when the engine is cold, then run the bike to operating temps and do the ABS.

    Cos that would make common sense but would lose them valuable labour time! Hence losing money

    Silly Me.......... Thinking they had common sense and that they could multi task and do something in between two jobs.

    What was I thinking :(:(:(

    TBH, it was quite hot by the time I got it there... I'd hazard a guess they wanted to do the brakes first as they didn't know what was wrong with them...

    In the end they just bled them (Again)...
