Apparently there are plenty out there at present with the number of RTC which have overwhelmed Noble Hospital. This cock brought some unwanted attention on himself and paid the price! http://www.energyfm.net/cms/news_story_377718.html
Justice is swift and severe on the Isle of Man, serves the disk head right. No licence, no insurance and no regard for anyone else. Let's hope he is banned from the island.
Harsh message, but he'll have a tough phone call to make to his boss (or get the message relayed....) assuming he is work of course
Freedom and responsibility go hand in hand. He has lost his freedom, and he's responsible for picking up the Soap!
They should make him ride round the course 10 times on a pink moped wearing an I Am A Dick placard....preferably in a mankini....While people throw rotten tomatoes at him
Here's another twat. 8 weeks in stir! Fuck him, and before the dogooders defend his human rights it would be different if he caused the death of a racer eh? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-33049021
This pissed my morning off today http://www.three.fm/news/isle-of-man-news/racing-delayed-due-to-serious-crash/ Having been overtaken by a nob when there's an oncoming car while the course was open and seeing him later cashed out on the mountain section (pic to follow), my morning get wasted by the cause of an accident before the racing was due to start at 10:30 today. Still, at least I got a mid morning snooze while waiting for the action to start.
The risks taken by these morons are more of a risk to the innocent than themselves. Total disregard for anyone else. I was talking to Martin Jessop who went and did a lap on open roads on a road bike. And over the mountain he gave it a bit, but was still being flown past by guys doing ridiculous speeds, so much so that it actually scared him a bit. And that is a racer saying that. Its totally unnecessary. No just bikes either, so of the car drivers are just as bad. One guy nearly took me, and six others out just past the lights at Ballacraine heading to Douglas. He was later visited by plod though, but was lucky he never got his c*** kicked in too. The saddest part is, that I never even got over the mountain this year. The road was never open long enough, and then when it re-opened it was shut again 20 minutes later. I feel for the police left to scrape up these idiots. All that will end up happening is that the mountain will end up restricted, and there will be a limit to the amount of bikes allowed on the island during TT. Thus spoiling the fun of the majority. Throw into that all these other knobs who seem intent on going onto closed roads. They should just be kicked off on the next boat. Again spoiling it for the majority.
What's the score with the speed limit through the mountain section. Is it a case of there's no limit when it's set one way?
The mountain road like many of the islands out of town A roads are National speed limit. There is no maximum speed but if you are involved in an incident or your riding is deemed dangerous you could be charged with dangerous driving or undue care, and as you may have heard this week if you act like a moron there will be a very unpleasant reality check at the prison up in Jurby.
Been a crazy year really busy great fun. Still the Senior to go and try and squeeze a couple more runs over the mountain, just need to avoid the psychos. The disregard for the locals is disappointing no respect people forget they've got day to day lives to be getting on with. Roll on the Senior and 2016.
You can also throw in the complete disrespect of people throwing or leaving loads of rubbish and empty beer cans etc at the sides of the road. Or the ones who get a run over the mountain, get off the bike at the Creg and have a couple of beers. Jump back on and tear it down towards Brandish on the back wheel. We all like our bit of speed, in the right times, places and usually not impaired by alcohol. Totally shocking some of the behaviour I witnessed over there this year. Nobody should be made to feel scared to get a run over the mountain, but the wife was petrified of being wiped out by some nutter, or worse some drunk nutter who can't control his/her bike.
I was told when I was over that there is a national speed limit on the mountain but is not enforced but I do get the feeling during TT weeks because of some of the tits that's abuse it that may change! It's not before time they crack down on these farkin twats
