Guys, For a while now, my bike has acted a little bit odd. When Cold, its starts and idles perfectly, rides perfectly, and has no issues at all. However, once warm and gets turned off for a short period, say for fuel, or lunch on a ride out, when it gets restarted, it idles really lumpy, like a surge. I can't work out why and once on the road, it rides perfectly again. No warning lights, no fluid losses, Oil is spot on and servicing is up to date. Could my slip on be affecting it and possibly requires a Power Commander to help with the fuelling??? Anyone else suffered anything similar or can offer a potential reason?? Ta Wayne
Yes mate, I have a 2Brothers Slip On Can only. It was on the bike when I purchased it. The Standard Can has never seen a mile.
Mine's the same. It's smooth when cold but has a lumpy tickover when it's warm. A power commander might help.

I asked my local Honda dealer to check it over when it was last serviced and they just said that they do hunt for revs a bit when you've got aftermarket cans on.
No worries mate. I think I'll leave it alone then. I've lived with it this long, and with no riding issues.
My 2012 20th anniversary model with standard can is the same but once reved one or twice settles back down. No problem.
If it does it with a standard can then it definately must be a 'Blade thing. Thanks for letting me know..
