hello from the Scottish borders

    Hello all, and thank you for welcoming me to the Forum.
    Been riding bikes for over 20 years and have only just bought my first Honda (unless a montesa counts)
    So I bought a 2015 blade last week to turn into a racer and while searching for info I stumbled across this forum.
    It seems to be a wealth of information and has provided me with some great reading thus far.
    Now to build this race bike.

    My daughter and I drove up to Fort William last night, what amazing roads you have up here, not to mention the scenery!

    Pity about all the speed cameras :(

    Should have come up the west coast then mate. Even better scenery and no cameras ;)

    Time was limited, we did 1300 miles in two days as it was, but well worth it, I love Scotland, one of my favourite places in the entire world.

    On my own and on the bike next time :)

    Hello and welcome,

    A couple of us from up central Scotland ish way have been trying to arrange a meet up this summer. Things were looking good till I had an off prior to the meet :( then the weather spoiled play for the remaining people.

    Hopefully we can have more success next season with arranging meet ups. I’m often down the St Mary’s Loch road and the beef tub, I will post on the Central Scotland thread whenever I go down next and hopefully others will come down as well :).
