Looks like Leon will be riding for the JG Speedfit Kawasaki team next season in BSB. It's a shame someone of his talent can't get a ride in WSB, but will be great to see him riding at the UK tracks again.
TBF he had his chance in WSB when he got the BMW works ride. Unfortunately he broke his leg on that and I don't think he ever recovered. He's talented, but when you get a new family your priorities change.
He has had more than one chance in wsb with the rides he has had! Don't get me wrong great talent but not quite enough to win, sometimes makes me think he gets some of the rides because of the family name though
Leon's team mate didn't really help matters when he was at bmw tho did he! He was plagued with injuries pretty much throughout his wsb stint, I thought he would have done better on the ape but it seemed the apes development team went the wrong way and sent the whole team backwards down the grid after a good show at Philip island.
Can't wait to see him back in BSB. It was great watching him and Sykes when they were battling out a few years back.
