Got a standard set from a earlier bike..... could be modded with internals ? I guess you want an actual ohlins or ready made up set ??

Don't need actual full on Ohlins forks
but I can get cartridge kits for the the Showa BPF. Just wandering if anyone had an already done set of forks, that way I can keep my original forks.

I had my Bpf forks done by ktech and the Showa rear was re valved.... transformed the handling on my track bike.... and not for mega bucks either....

You say not mega bucks - any chance you could give a ballpark figure?

You'd be looking at around £650-£700 for the forks and rear shock to be re-valved and sprung to suit.

If just changing the springs in the front and a revalve and respring in rear then around £350-£400

    Or 2 / 2.5k for internals and a shock

second hand is good, but factor in services and re sprung costs.

give maxton a call, dead helpful, awesome kit and great value for money

Cheers all, from reading various threads this seems to be the one thing worth doing before anything else as it gives the biggest improvements to the bike before slapping on power mods..
