Weheeeeey the GB Racing covers came today and are looking good Easy to fit so i didn't bother with an installation guide
For Medical reasons it looks like I'm going to miss this season biking and be of the bike till next year at the earliest . Im not sure if i should keep the bike , Keep upgrading and build my dream bike or sell up and buy a new bike when I'm fit again Not rush anyway and I'm going to fit all the parts i have ordered first What would you guys do ??
Agree, I have had many times that I can not ride, but its not just about the riding for me prob like you, bikes are in the blood its a lifestyle and I am as happy looking at them, working on them, dreaming about them they are a part of my life, much like you it would seem so keep it, keep spending money on it and aim at getting back on it at a later date...
As above. Even if you cant ride one, if you at least have it to look at, polish, kiss, caress..... Nothing worse than not having one when it's in your blood. Its part of ya, mate. Even the mrs. has noticed a sparkle in my eye since I got another. Dont sell, part of you will go with it.
Yeah spinal correction I was hoping it was going to be next winter so i could recover in time for the summer but a slot has come up in march . Coz my spine is curved my brain has dropped a little at the back . Not a problem for me now but during the spinal surgery it could be dangerous so I'm having the base of my skull trimmed so to speak lol , to make rom for it in febuary , 1 month to recover from that and then the spinal op . Iv done a lot of research and people make full recoveries and go back to Horse riding , wind surfing etc 1 girl went back to competing in gymnastics so I'm confident i will recover and be back on the bike this summer but obviously riding sensibly and taking it easy The doctor spun me out a bit today as he had to give me the chances of things going wrong etc but after that he said don't worry thou we do these opps all the time Im sure its just legal reasons he had to warn me . So all will be fine , just have to take a summer of the bike . X-rays will look good when i update the injures thread thou lol . 2 screws in every segment with 2 rods attached to them
At least i will have some time of work to chill as my back gets me up at 5 ish every morning . plus ill be on here even more than usual so all good ha ha
didnt think the brain issue wounld be a problem for you Dan! LOL Good luck with the surgery mate. I am sure all will go well.
depends on your circumstances..If you need the money then sell.If money is not an issue then keep it cos it will make you determined to ride it.Wsh you a speedy recovery when surgery comes.
Sorry to hear about your back probs mate, and not being able to get on the bike again soon. I'm sure it's you'll spring back up in no time. Bike wise I'd personally keep it, as others said it'll give you something to pull you through.
They look sweet mate! Gutted for you though, but don't sell the bike, you'll lose a shit load on it and have to strip it of all the bling etc. Keep it till next year.
No need to sell as I'm staying with my parents with my son so i will stay here for them to help with him and tax credits add to my sick pay as I'm a single parent I think your right guys Its only 1 summer . I can get it all super shiny for when I'm fit
Gutted for ya Dan, like others have said if you can keep hold of it then do so would be a shame to do all the bit you have done to it and not get to enjoy them all the best bud
