So I joined the forum a while ago when I was looking to step up from my r6 but restoring the new (117 year old) house we bought used up every penny and some so I ended up with out a bike for a while, well I got sick of sitting in traffic on the way in and out of Leeds so after gaining the go ahead from the pretty one at home I started to look at all sorts of things from Bandits (I fancied building an xtr endurance sort of thing) to vfrs gsxr 750s all manor of trail bikes then I settled on a 600rr and looked at quiet a few, a day at donnington on the ron school and I was sold track bike and commuting duties it was for a 600rr. Then I saw for the same money I could get a 1000rr. Well I'm a grown man with the brain of a teenager so a blade it was . Shes an 04 plate in Rutter hm plant paint some nice bits on power commander 3 gpr pipe hel lines all round acumen . I got it from craigs in Shipley who were great. I love it its far too fast for me and will be a long learning curve getting used to her. done just short of 900 miles so far. ill post pics tomorrow as soon as she is washed and polished again shes currently covered in a weeks worth of road grime so not at her best for showing off .
Sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! But you did right. Great bike, only had mine for 2 weeks so I agree with you about the learning curve. Can't wait to see your pics. Enjoy!
