    The Repsol Hondas look good in pictures - nice bright colours .

    That's what I'm talkin' about. Excellent shot!

    Interesting to note MM's bike with a disc cover. No adverse weather conditions in Austin, so I wonder whether it was to keep the track dust at bay? As it turned out, from being in front, he wouldn't have been riding through the 'dust storm' anyway.

    Awesome pics.

    Is VR the most photographed man EVER! :eek:

    I didnt even notice the 'winglets' on MM fairing during the race...still photographs make that lean angle look mental; absolutely awesome.

    I believe the covers are to retain heat in the carbon discs to keep them at a certain operating temperature.

    True, BL1. But the temperatures were high. Did you hear discussions about a 'soft' tyre not being made available because they were outside the temperature range of 13 -35 degrees?

    I'm intrigued now. I might have to replay my recording and see if others had their covers on!! Cheers!
