    Hi

I’ve got Brembo M4 calipers and need some new pads before my next track day.

Has anyone got any recommendations and good places to buy?

    Cheers
    Mike

    Hi,

I had the M4s on my old Tuono and read good things about Ferodo zrac pads on the AF1 forum.

Gave them a try and was very impressed. Next to useless when cold or wet, but so so much better than the Brembo OE ones once warm.

    You can get them here:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-1...176408?hash=item1e9f275ed8:g:fK4AAOSwSRlZ4POY

M4 calipers were standard on the 1098, but I'm not sure if the pad size is different depending on whether your M4s are 100mm or 108mm?

mick how do u find the m4 brakes and the carbon wheels, and master cylinder, mine are stupidly powerfull, I feel u could put jam butties as pads and it'll still stop

I guess they'd then be 'toasted' jam butties:D.

Yeah the brakes are awesome, can't imagine what a proper MotoGP/WSBK race setup is like.

I have to be carefull when switching between bikes as the brakes are my ZX-7R are rubbish. :)

Agreed, I had M4s, rcs master cylinder and OZ forged wheels and the braking was unreal.

One finger at all times, lock the front in the dry if I wasn't careful

That was the only backward step when I moved to the blade.....and of course that's not a fair comparison as there was nothing OE left on my Tuono
