Quality is measurable by expected and actual performance.

I have used these levers for only 6 months but am more than pleased with them - hence my recommendation. They feel good insofar as the contour to the hand, the adjustability is good (though not to the high degree of ASV etc); their finish is good (but some would say not as refined as the more expensive ones); they were easy to fit, and they represent value for one who wanted black levers rather than OEM. For me, they are a quality lever.

my mate had some similar on a bmw, when he took it for a service the mechanic advised him not to use cheap levers, one thing I wouldn't skimp on was the things stopping me, only my 2 sence, if I was u save up for a brembo master cylinder, theres one for sale on a thread if u got the funds, u wont regret it, top mod, poss use these on the clutch side

With the greatest respect, @roboticus, and as information to @Chukzn17 , this is why so many products and services are denigrated because of hearsay opinions. Obviously I do not know 'why' such advice was given, and whether it was based on actual evidence or experience, or merely a bias against non-OEM fittings.

'Cheap' must also be taken into context. An OEM Blade clutch lever can be purchased for 20 quid. By definition, that makes the standard product very cheap. But no-one contests its quality - the only reason we change them is for aesthetics and or adjustability.

But back to the original point of the post which was 'Wanted, black levers for 2008.' It is perhaps a shame that no-one has offered to assist the original poster with the merits of the 'non-cheap' levers, but at least he now has a point of reference from where to start.

he's asked for opinions, mine is get a Brembo master because its a top mod that improve power and feeling to the brakes, yours is buy some cheap chinese copys there shit but look better then oem, and the trained bmw mechanic says don't put them cheap Chinese copys on your bike,
    so he's got 3 there,

Would sportsbikeshop really sell an untested product that is a ‘cheap chinese copy’ ? They are probly the most reputable motorcycle conpany in the uk ...... however i do understand your opinion on the brembo mater cyclinder , my thought is that it is overkill for what i require of my cbr1000rr .. now if i was racing on a weekley basis , whothout hesitation i would purchase one! You both have great opinions and i thank you both for your feedback & advice :)
My original post was just to see if anyone had anything for sale and what was out there ..
    thanks again guys

I've a had a several sets of ASV''s and can fully recommend them. The quality shows and I'm sure if you can find some for sale at the right price, you won't be disappointed. They do pop up on here now and then :)
