    Hello, guys! Need advice.
There was a question on installation quickshifter on mine CBR1000RR 2008.
On which to pay attention? I read various forums - very good reviews have HM Quickshifter Plus SS.
I use my bike 50%/50% track and street.
Some advise Bazzaz or Translogic. I want a clear and fast switching on all gears.

    What say?

I've got the hm plus ss on my blade and it's bloody brilliant! Easy to fit and adjust and the great change is smooth as silk and sounds awesome:cool: I paid 250 second hand for mine, there's normally one on here for sale pretty regular

Thanks for the answer! And from the first to the second, he also clearly switches? Or do I need to use a clutch?

I've not had any issues first to second, only time I've missed any gears is when using it lower down the revs when I should have used the clutch really. When on the throttle its awesome above around 6k revs and it's fine in any gear

Subject to what @CBRGav replies, they should work through all five shifts. I have the Honda QS on my 2018 Blade and as stated, it is brilliant!

Gp can go down the gears aswell if i remember right. Mines got a slipper clutch so i didn't see the need for the extra cost and coming down the gears it's normally because its slowing down anyway!

Yes, Gav, bang on. That will be the price difference.

@Demmel must check this when looking, because many only upshift. I seem to recall there's a specific ECU mod in the OEM Honda QS that permits the downshift.

I couldn't justify the extra cost. You won't be disappointed with the plus SS

Now I'll try to find second-hand. As far as I understand, there is really nothing to break

Mine was second hand, there's 8 plugs for the spark plugs connectors, the little screen and the shift rod. Pretty much indestructible

Also looking into the HM plus ss, don’t think the gp would be worth the extra for 08 to 16 blade. As far as I’m aware the blipper output will only work with drive by wire throttle. Maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject could jump in.

Yes, @Blade runner 1 , you're right. I knew when writing my earlier post there was something that prohibited downshifts on some after market QS. That is it; it must be ride by wire, and it is the electronics for that that activate the blip etc.

I can not decide what to take: HM Quickshifter SS plus or Healtech Quickshifter Easy? The second is cheaper

I have a healtech qs what i removed off my old CB1000R and have just got the loom for my RR9, just need to get round to fitting it, when it was on the CB it was really good though, dead easy to set up with the app on my phone and one of the most fun mods i have ever done on a bike.

I heard the opinion that a false neutral is often caught on the Healtech QS when switching from the first to the second gear. Maybe this is not entirely objective. Is it because of a malfunction of the gearbox or due to incorrect QS settings?
