Thought I'd raise an interesting question/survey.

What race number would most people identify with Moto GP/and former 500cc?

I was tossing up between 46 and 34, but settle on 46.

Definitely 46 for MotoGP in its modern form, after all it has been there for all that time.

Earlier than that is of course the number 7 of Mr Barry Sheene Esq.

    69. Because it used to be my lucky number, but then I got married :D
Plus it reads the same upside down

I can relate to that. I used 'zero' for a while before switching to 08. (Problem with reading that upside down is that it's nearly my age:rolleyes:)

It's a bit previous. I'm not dead yet
Still, it's a decent turn out. Even John Craven is there.

58, it is still raw after nearly seven years. Whenever I see 58 even for example the battery life left on my iPad I think of Marco. Apologies for that folks. But yes 46 it will always be for me.

Yep. I note Rossi still wears the number on his helmet.

7 for me. Was on my dads bike when i was a kid. A bonnievile used to check the flock on. He used to race on the shale roads with other farmers. 74 58 and 46 have always been on back doors of my transits but if my bike didnt already have a rutter paint job and a 3 on it id have put 7 on for sure.
