Hi all. I am about to take the plunge and get a new SP. My last bike was the BMW S1000RR, I was going to replace it but I rode the new Honda and I quite liked it, so thinking about it in hindsight I felt like if I was getting another BMW I wouldn't actually be getting a new bike seeing as I've had one before. I know the blade is down on Power but I'm only really going to miss that on monster tracks like Snett or Silverstone (and probably if I go to Europe), but the blade feels much 'friendlier' and looks nicer and smaller/ more modern. There don't seem to be much posts about the new SP, is that because not many have been sold or is there another forum?
Hi jaykay, and welcome. There are a few on here with SPs, but because they're a reliable and new bike, there are very few posts about problems. A couple have changed exhausts and screens but that's about it. Perhaps if you use the search box for 2017 -18 SP you might find something. Remember, because of the price, they're not a humongous seller. I just happen to have one, left in standard condition save for R & G tail tidy and R & G rad guard.

I don't know yet, I've covered the details with the dealer and made the (virtual) deal but I am only going in next week to put my money where my mouth is.
Delivery expected on the 10th Sept. I won’t be able to pick it up for a couple of days after that though. Haven’t told the missus yet, don’t know what she’ll say. Oh well! Trying to stop myself from booking a track day already.
