Never tried it myself, but I rarely suffer road grime.

Well worth a try though. There is always room for finding improvements/upgrades to our cleaning kits. I will add that I am always happy with plain old Mr Sheen and even use it UNDER my bike, on wheels, sprockets etc. The benefit with this is that it leaves a silicone overcoat (albeit minor) on all dirt-attracting components thereby making follow up cleaning simpler.

Yeah, I've been applying Mr Sheen fastidiously over the last couple of days to the gixxer with all the rain we had :(

I cleaned her twice yesterday, once in the car park after I'd ridden through the pee'ing rain to get here, then again at home after riding the soaked roads

    It's a sickness o_O

Autobrite direct do one called sprints, just spray on before final rinse and gives 3 months protective coating. in sale at the minute it's 10 quid a litre, the rest of their stuff is awesome, I'm yet to try sprints though as it's not here yet. the videos of it lol the same as that stuff though

Is Barry Sheene just traveling to people's houses and rubbing his magical self on bikes to keep them clean?:p

Or is it Charlie Sheen? I'd imagine he'd leave your bike in a mess and possibly pregnant.

For guys built like that you use one of two things.
    1) Tact. Avoid the situation at all costs
    2) Large bore. From a distance. Semper Fi..lol

Nah. Both @Nytol and I are gym rats. I was a competing bodybuilder in the late 70s early 80s and still train 5 days per week. We hold a certain respect for each other that is matched only by SP owners!!:D:D

Yeah, you guys can play all the jokes, BUT when you're both laid up in a care home and struggling to put on fluffy slippers (@Lozzy) and Hugh Hefner gold-plaided house coat (@Spygoat ) I'll STILL be riding my 30-mile loop on my then 2037 Honda Electric/Hybrid FireSpark, and STILL doing the Mr Miyagi 'wax on, wax off' routine. So just continue to enjoy your little swipes at your peril!!:p:D:D

I'd venture a guess that I won't suddenly become unfit due to my lifelong training regiment that hasn't slowed down one bit since I've entered civilian life!

However, if you feel like going on a 30 miler (on your feet, not a bike) I'd be more than happy to motivate you through it.
