I bought a set of three lines from HEL, two for the front and one for the rear. You get a double length banjo in the kit for adapting the two lines down to the calipers. Give it a good bleed and you will be good to go.

follow my instructions in earlier thread to extinguish the light, it stays on for 2 seconds while ecu calibrates the different systems

How long has it been abs free and any problems encountered since then?

i ran it in october but not since then. there is nothing left to fail, all the stuff that fails i have in a box in the back of the garage. the abs system of the bikes is separate to the ecu. there is no problem with power limitations or limp mode etc as the ecu has no idea it is an abs bike. the only link is the loom that powers the abs system, if you remove it you need to cut a single wire to power the starter solenoid

i started at the back and removed all of the system from under the seat, its easier if you split the rear subframe to extract all of the actuators , pumps and piping, it is very simple to do but can be quite time consuming. I found the hardest part to be the part on the rh side of the bike behind the exhaust manifold, i found the bolts to be seized on, took a while to remove it, removed the headers which created their own problems.

if you remove the abs loom under the seat you will need to very slightly modify the loom by cutting a couple of wires from memory

lots of help on here and some useful posts, take your time and it will be fine.

if you want to sell it then you can openly advertise that the nasty abs has gone, nobody wants to buy an abs honda !

Gee, that sounds like a massive undertaking if you're having to remove headers etc. That job will truly call for care and patience.
