    Hi Folks

Can anyone advise if there is an optimiser charger connector placed anywhere on these bikes? I was trying to hook up my charger to keep the battery fresh but couldn't locate the bugger! I've checked my manual and it doesn't mention anything.

    Thanks in advance

There is not one. You'd need to buy an additional pigtail to hook to your battery.

If they were to supply one as standard it might be seen as them not trusting the battery to last, not a maintenence tool. I think I have a spare one laying around somewhere if you can't find one :)

Rav, there should be one in the box. I have 5 of the damn things and each came with its own link cable. Some deal;ers do sell the cable separately; I know mine does and it was 5 quid.

Quick update - Managed to find the optimiser box in the garage and luckily all original connectors were still in the box. Removed seat and fitted connectors. All sorted. Thanks for your help and offers for support/connectors. Cheers!

Frig me:rolleyes:. How the heck could you take the Optimizer out of the box and not notice?

I can just see you: Opens the box, pulls out the plastic tray, throws instruction manual away, talks to self: 'Oh, look, they've used all these wires and connectors as packing material. Why the frig didn't they use bubble wrap like everyone else?'

Pitches empty box into loft, with the old DVD box (complete with instructions and connections) shaver box (complete with cleaning kit and stubble trimmer) wife's electric mixer box (complete with extra beaters and bowls . . .:D:D

Glad you got it sorted!! Cheers!!;)

Haha! Well the last bike already had an optimiser connector attached so i didnt have to fiddle with any new connectors. It was plug and play But you described me to a T, never read instructions, just allow my masculine instincts to guide the process. Never failed me to date lol
