Looks gorgeous! And I'm feeling your pain re taking the new bike for a spin - I'm desperate every day that the weather/road conditions will be up to it but they just aren't... frustrating!

Could be okay for me tomorrow by midday according to my 14 weather apps:rolleyes:.

This is where I feel for those at work because invariably the good days are during the week and come the weekend it's crap!

No - I did a guy on YouTube with a rad guard - the way he spoke it sounded more cosmetic then protection. Is it worth it?

My new tyres have arrived at the local(ish) shop so looks like 8am tomorrow is the perfect time to be scrubbing them in, temperature maybe 2C tops.... mmmm

You’re quite right Nigel, no job would make things a hell of a lot easier!

    (Sorry for thread bending, OP)

This might not be much help because of my age. Memory;) but
I brought mine from norton honda( would not recommend, long story)
But they told me to test ride down a particular road with loads of bends( they had a nickname for it but I can’t remember it)
I got a bit lost but did find the first bit of it and that was good but apparently it gets better the further you get down it.
Now i think the road was clothall road A507
But I’m sure if you asked them they would tell you
Or someone on here might know it

Radiator guard is definitely a must. They're inexpensive & will save you a whole lot of grief and money if a stone smashes into it!
    R&G do good ones :)

Cosmetic? Must be a guy more into You Tube than bikes:rolleyes:. It can hardly be called cosmetic because it's not really seen. However, as others have said above, it is almost mandatory.

Think of it as a condom: you hardly see it when it's fitted, but it does hell of a good job against unwanted intruders! :)

Speaking of rad guards - quite a few forum members used to sing the praises of another company. I got mine from them but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the company - much cheaper and just as effective :)
