is this plug and play and will it fit an 08 model, if yes to the above i will take it

I had a PZ one on my Varadero, would occasionally get confused but i dont know why all bikes dont come with some form of gear indicator, my 1993 BMW had one as standed

 

Aaaahh! Don't start me again or I'll launch into the fuel gauge omission as well!

 

Just reading about these recently, apparently the neutral sensor for quite a few Suzukis (even as far back as the GSX1100EFE (circa 86) have the appropriate wiring to be able to convert to accept a 7 segment LED display. So I will probably fit one to the Bandit for very little money.

Maybe the Honda will have the same or similar switch/sensor.

Nah mate, came offshore the day after the purchase, although I am due to demob tomorrow, so hopefully I can have a play this week. Few items sat at home awaiting my attention.
Found a 1200 rear shock for £45, low rise Superbike bar and nicer bar end mirrors and a new set of Oxford heated grips which were a free gift for taking out a magazine subscription. Can’t wait now.
