    Hi All

James Here from Leeds West Yorkshire...Just bought my first blade....could be looking for some advice in the future as this is my first venture into Honda sports bike.

Had in the past a brand new 1993 Yamaha Yzf 750 exup in Grey and bright pink...(who is old enough to remember when fluorescent was all the range) then owned a Kawasaki ZX7R for 13 years..Had a fall and retired from riding for two years... Anyhow the itch never left me and I bought a Blade very low milage (1110) which has been stood for the best part of 5 years...

Its absolutely mint with just a tiny little scrap from what looks likes stand still drop. see Pics below.

Really looking forward to getting on such a modern machine by my standards..

Looking forward to spending some time on here as well this is my first venture into forums...

Pick her up next tuesday.. after a full service and a mot.

Was wondering if anybody knows of any recalls on these bikes its the non ABS model. And hopefully learning
    about the CBR 1000RR

    Cheers

Welcome James, bike looks mint. You’ve come to the right place, lots of info to be obtained from the forum. Glad to hear it’s non ABS.

Hiya James. Good pickup. Can't really go wrong with these. I have the 2011 HRC, but recently changed it to Castrol livery.

Best tip for the moment is to check the date and condition of the tyres.;)

Hi James and welcome to the forum.

Had to double take when I saw your new bike then! It's Identical to my last blade which I traded in in the new year for an SP.

It's not mine though.....mine had even less miles at 9k. Beautiful bike and the best HRC colour scheme on the RR9.;)

It was a tough decision in 2009 as whether I went for that model or the Repsol. I went for the Repsol but I love that scheme. Carlos Checa’s 2008 Suzuka 8 hour scheme I thing it replicates.
