Well, I have been here for a couple of weeks now (got pointed here for mechanical help). Bought a 2008 Fireblade back in September, she will be my 3rd in total after the RRX and RR4. I thought I had gotten to the "sensible" age, and so when my 2004 was nicked I ended up with a Suzuki SV100, which was okay, and then fell in love with a little 2006 Ducati Monster 800S2R, (which I still love and is becoming a cafe race project). So, with the Ducati beginning to have one or two gremlins, and pre-empting the bound to happen electrical issues, I went looking for a sensible, mature commuter machine and ended up with a RR8 I thought the 2004 machine was a missile, but holy mother of god! LOL Based near to Dublin city centre, but often found enjoying the valleys of Wales and my old home region of Gloucestershire. Hope to see some of you out on the road! Andrew.
