Oh dear...just when you thought it'd gone away.....

    Just arrived for Di's bike.
I'll be interested to see if her QS has to be at an angle with these on, like mine is.

    Interesting ....what's your inside leg?
Mines nearly 34" and I've got the Gilles and I'm finding they're fine :) and that's with a replacement knee ....:D

Initially an accident (not bike) and then being fobbed off numerous times by my local doctor for over a year until I threatened to strangle him if I didn't get to see a specialist.....who promptly said in medical terms when I saw him...Well that's f#cked...and agreed that me hobbling around on it all that time in a very demanding physical job had b#ggered it to the point of needing a replacement one
NHS were superb though from that point on.

Is that knee replacement where they cut through the bone above and below the knee, then pop the whole new unit in and cement/glue/screw it to those top and bottom leg bones

Do you know I'm not sure..
I stayed awake but there was a sheet preventing me having a view of the op...there was a lot of banging and sawing going on though lol...
They did tell me but it was boring and I didn't listen, I've paperwork somewhere with it on. I've got a long scar down it ..double the length again on this pic so I guess they must have well opened it up...:)

Lol seriously I never listen to anything if it doesn't interest me...
However...I've just looked at the paperwork for the first time since 2014
And it looks like there's some metal and cement in there :D
