Evening all, took delivery of my new (to me) Honda Fireblade yesterday. bike is a 2012 model and currently completely standard. had been browsing the forum for a little while before I purchased, found some really useful tips, in the end i opted for an abs model as i found one that ticked every box i had going... anywhos just wanted to say hey, should really get some pictures posted up but i have not stopped long enough to take any!! hoping someone will point me in the right direction for an exhaust also if they may, my previous bike had a yoshi r77, whilst it sounds amazing and i would like another its to loud for my local track (Oulton park) has anyone had any issue with a yoshi on your blade? or is it better to head down the akra route? i assume the slip on will not eliminate the cat? thanks for any advice and thanks for looking. Shaun
Hi and welcome to the forum. So you read up posts on the forum for tips and bought a pre 2017 ABS model - interesting
sorry for the second post.... is the Scorpion rp1gp just a slip on, this obviously doesnt remove the cat but seems to have another box (almost like a link pipe of some sort) can anyone advise?
thanks alot, sadly my budget did not stretch out to anything post 2017, took abit of a gamble going for an abs model maybe but so far the bike is fantastic.
Hi and welcome to the forum, whatever exhaust you end up with make sure you get a baffle as most exhausts are too loud for Oulton unfortunately. Keep hold of your standard can just in case! Where abouts in Cheshire are you?
