    It's not me :p

I bet all he was thinking as he sat on the bike was dont drop it dont drop it... ah shite

We have all felt that pressure of starting her up to leave the packed out cafe or meeting point. Ramping it up there on a rare Norton and being filmed!

Sounds like he pulls the clutch to give it that little blip and loses a bit of momentum. It's not going down till he panics and thinks I best put my leg out here, now it's all gone to shit as hes way off balance with no drive and the crunch of chrome fairings is inevitable.

I have to say, the exact same could happen to me as my slow, tight cornering is abysmal. The watching crowd doesn't help.

when I was younger I went out on the exup with shoes on, came to the end of the road tried to put my foot down but my laces were caught round the gear lever. luckily with force I managed to free it before the bike fell over onto my leg. I now will not wear anything with laces

There's something about turning right at slow speed - I always find pulling out of tight junctions and turning right the worst. No idea why it seems worse than turning left which in theory should always be tighter.

I think the little speed bump didn't help him either.

Can't believe the coolness in the situation to automatically reach for the shut off. My head would already have exploded with self directed rage, shame and embarrassment.

I knew someone whose footpeg spring stuck in the sole of his boot like a fishing hook. Inevitable result at the next set of lights! Bugger!

"Pride comes before a fall", they say. You certainly don't have much of it left afterwards!

This could also be one of those situations of rich boy/bloke with very little experience buying himself a bling toy without having the necessary experience/balance/control of big bikes. Without being to cruel or big-headed, it did seem a reasonably simple manoeuvre. :(

Nevertheless, I also feel for him.

I was once outside my office, sitting on my TL1000RR having a smoke (I used to partake of those nasty things). Once finished, I went to get off the bike and as I leaned it on the side stand, the horrible realisation came to me that I had put the side stand up while sitting on the bike making revving noises (yes, I am a child). Down I went, still straddling the bike. I looked like an utter fool. Several others were present and rushed to help. Very embarrassing. I was asked if I had taken the course and politely informed the Master Chief at this duty station that I was actually a MSB instructor. Awkward....

I actually thought he was going to hit one of them bollards!! Certainly didn't see that coming...... I mean come on, I don't think I've ever seen this happen in real life..... Only in you tube videos!!

You're right though @tuktuk....... Nothing gets the adrenalin pumping quite like riding out of a packed bike meet with everyone stairing at you and your bike..... Happens to me all the time

    I still can’t get used to it:rolleyes:
I do feel sorry for new riders turning up at these meets like two wheel Tuesday, it is on bumpy grass and you have to ride through the middle of everyone and then turn round on the grass
