hi everyone, Just about finished Michael Dunlop’s autobiography and was looking to buy mcpints and hutchys, are there any others anyone has read and can recommend? Or any biker books in general? Thanks
Haha haven’t had a golf for 10 years now but for some reason the name has always stuck with me. Not even sure why I had 3, one after the other. They were all crap
Spotted already. I thought it was the American spelling. I mean, they have already adulterated most of our language. Oh, and by the way @Lozzy , it's actually 'grammar'. Not that I'm critical of course!!
Not in 'merican it aint, if y'all cud only speak proper American, need to use zz more and stop with this silly usage of ss hahahah
My mother is fond of saying the Americans slaughtered the English language. She gets angry when she sees the word honor or color. Then again, she is from Glasgow, so everything gets her angry.
Couple of good suggestions (apart from Nigel’s recommendation of the Oxford A-Z of grammar and punctuation- not really my thing), thanks guys,
"Ring of Fire" and also "That Near Death Thing" - both books by Rick Broadbent. I remember really enjoying them when I read them but I think they are from about 2009.
Seen That Near Death Thing, on my list of next purchases for sure, great to hear its a good one! Will look at ring of fire (might be me Friday night after a curry!)
Oh thenks Nogel...ill get that itel help with my grammer loads... Please let me reciprocate...this may help with your ongoing search for the 4th Mrs Nigel....the author is a world renowned expert in such matters....enjoy
I can’t agree more Lozzy You have to caress your tractoorrr, keep it well lubed and feed it the right foods to get back a life time of hard work and devotion
