Oh dear..... I had hoped he'd maybe even change his mind with some improvements in results!

Apparently the GP race starts at 12 on Sunday, think it is the 2nd race between Moto 3 and 2 same as they do at Silverstone.

I predict an interesting start, a dull middle, and an exciting last lap or 2 :p

Given 93’s crazy FP1 lap, I predict the same but from 2nd place down with 93 being 20s up the road.

Possibly but the gap did close quite a bit in qualifying so guess it will be MM and FQ up the road, but MM is much quicker in the last sector so should not have any problems if it comes down to a last lap tussle

So looks like Honda will see how Zarco goes for the next 3 rounds before deciding if he should take Lorenzos place next season? ?

I think this is a huge mistake. Lorenzo is a waste of time, but there are better options than Zarco.

Move Alex up to the premiere class, make it an all Marquez squad.

Wow! Nakagami thought he should get Lorenzo's ride a couple of months back. It wouldn't surprise me if Cal called it a day at the end of this season. He's publicly stated that he's in absolute agony with his ankle injury from last year and his practice and race times have been poor of late with the unworkable Honda.

Honda I believe are causing themselves problems at the moment. Comments from Puig basically telling everyone to stop whinging about the bike as Marquez does well on it may very well come back to bite them on the arse.

Competitive riders won't want to ride the honda, and if (when?) Marquez has a crash that takes him out for 3 or 4 months they will be dependent on their other riders, of which their best result in Thailand was 10th place and 6th in Aragon.

I see this as an interesting move. Putting aside Zarco's 'administrative' problems, I believe he will transition well from KTM to the Honda because of his familiarity with the V4 power delivery. This will also give us an excellent - perhaps unbiased - snapshot of how good (or bad) Crutchlow/Nakagami/Lorenzo are on what is said to be the ill-handling Honda. I truly look forward to this!:)

Honda are a bit of a one horse show at the moment. At least when Pedrosa was in the team he could still pull out a win - he was a good team player and people liked him.

Marquez has been riding his luck - as well as his huge talent of course. Crashes that have put Lorenzo out of action, Marquez survives again and again.

Whoever moves to Honda - the ability to fall off regularly without sustaining injury will likely be a necessary skill set.

Lorenzo fell off a flat tracker and breaks his wrist - Marquez gets launched but goes on to later win the race !

As much as I admire and like Marquez....... He is in danger of becoming the 'Jonathan Rae' of Moto Gp!o_O

For no fault of his own other than winning everything and making WSBK boring...... Rae has become disliked and some might even say hated!!

Although Marquez has dominated for a number of years and remains a likeable character....... There are those that Boo him when he stands on the top step of the podium though, especially in Italy!

I think the best thing that could happen in Moto Gp now would be for Marquez to leave Honda and try and win on another bike, not only win but take a world title. To truly be the GOAT, he needs to do what only Rossi and Stoner have achieved in the modern era!

Some might say...... Why would you leave Honda when you're winning everything? I woukd say...... Well Rossi did it;)

Marquez should go to Ducati. But, he seems to be a driven winner and unlikely to want to give up winning, just for the challenge of trying something different. I think with Marquez winning is 100% of the story.

It would be great to see what Marquez could do with the Ducati.

And Rossi make way for Quarteraro

I think putting Zarco on a Honda is a threat to Lorenzo by Puig. If Zarco beats Lorenzo on a Honda he's not ridden then Puig has proved it's Lorenzos head that's the problem. There should be no problem dropping Lorenzo by Honda as I believe he rides for no fee apart from personal sponsorship. I feel sorry for Lorenzo with the thought that he could be paralysed if he's thrown again (like 93 last week). He should walk away now while he still can.
