Is anyone else seeing more adverts on here today or is it just me?

I used to get them at the top and bottom of the page, now I get them in the middle of threads and even in the middle of posts too?

I’m using safari on mobile to view.

just took m,e 5 seconds to eliminate them all. I went to the Chrome Store and added the AdBlock extension.

    Result!

    Not a single ad!

sometimes 5 seconds seems quick, but other times it takes an age, like posting a reply, or a video buffering...

Have no fear, Google has listened to your concerns and is going to castrate ad blockers in Chrome

Nice to see an advertising company take such note of people's concerns about not being able to see adverts and have malware etc. delivered by iffy adverts.

I'm sure the Mozilla/Firefox market share will plummet unless they too remove nasty plugins like umatrix that block adverts whilst not taking money from Ad companies to be whitelisted, and noscript that selfishly stop scripts running that allow a CPU to stretch it's legs rather than sit there idleing.

Remember the old Google motto of "Do No Evil", well I wish they did. Right I'm off to get my foil lined lid from the same shop as Mattie :D

Do the ads generate a revenue? If so who gets it?
