* NOW SOLD * CBR1000RR Fireblade 2012 RR-C Graphite Black Fairing (Suits 2012 to 2016 Models) These are in excellent condition (apart from light marks on seat cowl see below) and were removed from my previous Blade at a few months old (700 miles). I replaced the fairing with HRC colours and have stored this fairing. Note - only what is pictured is included, I do not have any of the inner plastic panels etc. I want to sell complete (will not split). Due to size and packaging difficulties, collection only from Shipley (West Yorks) or possible collection Sheffield. * NOW SOLD * (I checked list price on these parts from Honda and it adds up to over £2600?!) Hi @Ian E I did look at this last week as i wondered about a spare set of fairings to keep my urban tiger ones in good nick but then i thought why would I do that because I bought it for the way it looked in the first place. I might get some of that clear wrap instead. Just a comment but I think you will have to be patient till the right buyer comes along rather than sell yourself short. There’s loads of Chinese ones out there at half that price but then there are plenty folks that will not go near them as well. hang in there mate
Many thanks for the feedback. Agree, I might need to be patient - not in a rush to sell. I have had some interest from Ebay but it's people who want them posting abroad etc. - too large / fragile to post. I've also had requests to split it up (but I don't want to be left with odd panels). Cheers, Ian
If it's any help, Ian, I sent my 2011 fairings to Bulgaria bubble wrapped and in one of these £5.50 boxes: https://www.bigyellow.co.uk/boxshop/product/name/extra-large-box/ DPD charged by weight and not volume so shipping was £28.00. Purchaser was happy to pay that. [Just for info] Agree with you in full about not splitting - devalues the whole lot and you WILL be left with stuff!
I wouldn't pay top dollar for fairings unless I wanted to maintain/restore a bike to its original state. Some would say, 'Why store a good set of fairings in the loft?' but I would much prefer to preserve good OEMs and fit Chinese than run the risk of damaging precious 'Tigers'.
Kudos @nigelrb I had done my research so knew all about it As they say, nothing queer as folk But if it doesn’t kill you....it just makes you seriously unwell or is it, stronger, lol
Yeah, sorry mate. It’s so easy to get lost and see the threads highjacked but at least the headline is bumped to the front
