Wow! I will like to see @Lozzy 's response to this because she swears by Wurth and rides all weathers.;)

    Yes he's right :)
When I was commuting on them I'd stick something like SDoc100 white lube on as it protects the chain underneath from salt etc.
But because I only ride perhaps once or twice a week now once salts down , I tend to stick with the Wurth and just wash/clean/relube each time :)
However...I've just ordered some SDoc funnily enough as I'm getting more and more @Selmer50mark Can't be arsed these days lol

Of course it doesn't affect me.

The only water my bikes see is the summer bug clean.:)

Interest to know from your experience, how sDoc compares to wurth in terms of flinging and the grime/ paste left behind:)

The older version was quite good compared to other brands I've ended up chucking in the bin.
Never had winter rust on my chains.
The recent can I ordered is a newer formula. It's gone on the chains well...you don't need much either. I'll report back once I've done a few hundred on them. Although I'm trying to avoid v crappy weather on the SP I have fully acf50 him as his pleas to go out with me from under his cosy quilt are quite heartbreaking and Ive no self control lol :D

    Never seen that stuff @Lozzy.

I do have some Dr Wack products in my bedside dresser, but alas, nothing to do with bike lube!:D

Looks like a long wait. Have not been on the bike since Thursday, itching to ride, but the foul weather is just so...

I went out on Friday and the bike got covered in mud!! I just had to get out one more time. Was a nice ride out. I cleaned her as soon as I got in. Am going to ACF50 her at the weekend. New to the game so do you guys just spray it on and leave it or do you spray and then wipe with a cloth? I only have one spray can of ACF50 - will that be enough?

A can will last a few seasons! I normally degrease first then atomise the acf.
If you dont have an airbrush then apply with normal soft brush is a better bet as it will reach more surfaces.
Spraying with the direct from the can is quite wasteful

    Thanks Slick
Santa got me a compressor for Christmas so I'm gonna use that to atomise the ACF50 so it gets in the nooks. My bike is matt black. Does anyone know if it OK to get ACF50 on the matt paint/plastic?

It’ll look shit on the plastics and there is no need to spray the plastics. Just keep the edges clean with a cloth draped over and polish after with something like Putoline matt wax.
