What are you getting for your significant other? mine refuses to say anything useful, just says 'i dont want anything' thats all really lol
Money is tight this year so we have agreed to not got each other pressies. Will try and remember to get some chocs etc. though.
I got SWIMBO the new iPad Mini, but got my daughter another kind of Mini. It's her first car and hasn't actually started driving yet, but it's what she wanted. It's currently parked in a relatives drive all road legal for her to drive with me or the wife as passenger. The plan is to bring it home on xmas eve and park it on the street so she doesn't know it's for her.
20 years for us it kinda loses the charm when you tell eachother what to buy, thats why we have so many difficulties. we already have wheat we want!
2 excellent presents there. Love my Wahl balding clippers and have been to Krakow twice. Probably my favourite city break.
I bought my littlest grand daughter some books. Grandfather is into books. His house is full of them. I got Sally some frozen baby mice... I don't think hawks celebrate Christmas but she likes a good mouse does Sally. That's it.
Look for the "lost souls alley" when you get there. It's a themed escape room on all the most well known horror films. It's such good fun, I normally don't like that sort of thing either. There's some really good steak restaurants too, about half the price of the same standard in the UK too. We did the tours of the concentration camps too, not for everyone ofcourse.
I've always been fascinated with cryogenics. Could you thaw out one of those little critters for me and give me a report? I recall that you are a man of science, so it's well within your sphere. Just don't use the microwave!
Last year, the wife and I decided to stop wasting money and killing the planet buying each other loads of crap that we neither wanted or needed. Instead we now go halfsies on something we actually want for the house. Last year we went halfsies on a fancy oven and the rewiring necessary to use it This year we decided to put a 4k telly on the wall in the bedroom. Fair enough it's not the most christmassy way to do things but we've both commented many times in the last year about how glad we are that we spent our cash on something useful that we both enjoy.
Hmmmmmm, think if I were to try that it might end up as a gun....then a race to see who got to pull the trigger!
Now here's a topic to which I can contribute. Great range of advice and warnings available. PM in strictest confidence!!
