I have no embarrassment saying that it looks far better than the Daytona - and for about equal money too. MUCH cleaner lines.

It's not even a great picture of it, should have took it from the other side!

Nah, I wouldn't see it that way.

That would be like saying the Honda CBR500RR is a poor man's Blade.:)

Different bikes for different folks - in my view.;)

If you'd read reviews on this bike I'm not sure you'd think that..... I'm yet to read a bad review about this bike and they all say its more than capable on and off track.

It's not even a middle weight bike anymore at almost a 1000cc! I love the V4 and if I wanted one I could get one, but from 99.9% of the reviews I've read they all say that this is a more usable all round bike that will be easier to live with on a day to day basis.

If it's bragging rights down the pub you want then yeah the V4 is the one..... But you'll need a stack of talent to back it up!

I'm certainly considering the V2 but waiting to see some non track tests but at £15k it's got to be in contention.

Just on looks alone it's got to be one of the best looking bikes on the market. I think Ducati have a winner with the V2 I just hope the reliability isnt going to spoil it.

With my Firestorm experience and soon-to-arrive VTR SP-2, I can truly vouch the V-twins are an amazing experience. The 'snap on' power is incredible and the sound intoxicating.:)

Lovely bike, dukes have never done it for me, always considered them posers bikes but for that money I’d definitely consider one if I was in the market! Will look forward to seeing how you get on with yours when you get one @PauloHRC ;):D

Personally if I wasn't going Honda I'd go Kawasaki ZX10R o_O just thought I'd throw that one in to the ring ;)

I would go Ducati all the way if it wasn’t for the maintenance cost

Yep, Loz. You get my vote on that.

Bloody hell, I was so close to doing the deal on one. Only uncharacteristic patience made me wait until NEC to see the 2020 Blade.

And that was the end of me.:)

I love Blades but it's always been their all around do ability that's suited me and my circumstances personally.
But now they've made the new one as aggressive position wise ( if not more) as
other sportsbike options then when I come to get shut of the 16 plate for a newer one it means I can look at the R1M and the others. Tbh I prefer the position of the yam and it doesn't feel as small or cramped to me as the new blade.

Ducati reviews have always been the same 1098 was the 848 all the bike you need back in the day 748 blan blah no doubt new v2 is and would i get 10k more speed on the road out of the new v4s probably not....however when I open the garage or visit the tumble dryer the v4s would make me smile more just knowing you have to be good to get the best from it....plus knowing it was top of the range.....if money no issue I would have both as very different rides especially as v2 a real twin...
