I don't know how many of you checked the small war that opened from HRC through twiter. HRC compared the total results of Rossi and Stoner from 2006 up until now showing that HRC driver was far more... productive. This forced Rossi to twit on HRC page the following answer: "more real compare the first 5 season of me with the first 5 of Stoner" A few hours back HRC errazed the picture with the stats...
Same here, kind of ironic that stoner has only won one title to rossi's three for Honda though hey.... Think a guy that has brought so much to the sport deserves a bit more respect, but fair play to stoner for beating those stats (might be different if he hadn't broke his leg or gone to ducati) And I'd like to see rossi's first 100 starts stats against stoners?? Here we go again...........
Unfortunately we cant compare apples for apples, Rossi is a great rider and has a great personality especially when he is winning, Unfortunately we didnt see much of the winning last year. I dont mind people having a bit of banter back at him, I dont see it as disrespectful as facts are facts! Perhaps VR will post his first 100 starts stats and ask to see Stoners. He is and always will be a legend
well said both great riders. but one of the main things I like about Rossi is that he does have a personality were many others don't. For me that makes a more rounded rider that I enjoy watching. And one reason why With Marco's death I felt we lost a great future champion
