I’m struggling to find comfortable ear plugs. Have tried a few different ones and currently using Oxford bright yellow squishy plugs. Trouble with these is that after 30 minutes or so they really hurt my ears. Think it is the pressure of them expanding inside my ear.
Anyone using any custom plugs made to fit your ear or anything else that doesn’t hurt after a while?

I've used Howard Leight - Laser Lites for centuries, basically I reuse until I drop, lose or wash them

Same issue here. Not 30 minutes like, but certainly after a few hours it starts to hurt. After a full day riding it can be agony taking them out.

I use Howard Leight Laser Lites. They're better than most but still hurt.

I have used Howard Leights previously but changed to Moldex Spark Plug. Used to wear them all night when working away from home 3 or 4 nights a week.

See if you can get some sample oacks and see hiw you get on with each type. Also some people I know shorten them a bit so that they do go in so far.

I use moulded plugs when on the bike, no discomfort but never worn them for as long a stint as I did with the Moldex ones.

I use these for long periods on trips abroad - very good.

And wear them at night in the Hotels and campsites so as not to be woken up...;)

These work for me, have small ears and no discomfort. I get them from Fowlers. IMG_20200506_190750.jpg

I use the Alpine Motosafe ones - have worn these for full days on the bike, and in hotels/tents overnight, for two / three weeks straight. Very comfortable and work well without cutting out intercoms. Also two different filter levels that you can swap as well.

Always use the standard 3m yellow ones cheap enough to use a couple of times and then discard never had a problem with discomfort on the longest daily ride, would never ride without now

Another vote for Howard Leights when riding the bike but I use the Moldex Spark Plug at night in a strange hotel.
