Went to snetterton last Monday, arrived at 4 p.m soaking wet, came over the tannoy at half past 6 track day cancelled due to flooding, fingers crossed for September. 90 mile round trip can't grumble.
Fantastic day. Arrived the evening before to some misty weather, but definitely didn't deter from making a night of it. We chose our garage for the night and set to with our little setup. I played at being security guard for the night while the others slept in their vans. And then straight on to the important matter of what to do for the evening
In the morning the priority was to set us up the day with a BBQ cooked breakfast. The morning was wet so I spent it the on the CB. Although as it dried up my rear ended up pretty shagged.
Then on to pressing matters over lunch. At this point I've eaten my own body weight in meat, so time to hop on a more powerful bike. Overall a fantastic couple of days and decent weather for the time of year. It took me a while to re learn my way around Snetterton as I've not been since 2015, but I'm happy with the pace that I'm at. I'll put some videos up when I have a chance to go through them.
Looks like you had a right ole time of it!! you must have got the meat sweats with all those boigers and sausages!
It was the bacon that did me over as I kept burping the taste of bacon while on track in the afternoon
I wish I did. It was a foam floor mat, but was bloody awful. Fortunately the beer took the edge off. Definitely a blow up mattress next time.
