I wouldn't worry about the gutless mid-range - its all int he ETV tables.

By the time we crack the ECU and get into the ETV tables and edit them to HRC profile, this RR-R will be such a monster, they will be talking about it in hushed tones... until the next one is released.

The changes I have been making recently to the SC77 ECU have changed to personality so much its like a different bike. It feels like a less powerful version of my Super rather than a powerful street bike :)

Decent showing in Race 1 of WSB today. Doesnt look like too much development needed to get them right at the sharp end and nice to see both bikes finishing without tech issues as well.
That boy Scott has really matured as a rider over the last couple of years too.
You 2020 owners must be chuffed as it was probably the best looking bike on the track !

Looked good but still far off the top 4 .......BMW won't have Sean Muir running it for much longer even having VDM next year still off the pace and tech issues ,,,,hats off to Ducati and great ride by Scott hope he wins the title this year...

Yeah we have just been getting extra rain in Texas.

Other folks may want to button down the hatches.

First service was free for me and the next one too. Thing to look out for is at 2 years the forks require servicing by ohlins specialist.

2014 SP cost me £160 for service, bushes, seals and postage, so not too bad.

This intrigues me. Is this on the recommendation of dealer? Nothing in the 2018 or 2020 Owner's Handbook makes any reference re the Ohlins system to be serviced 2 yearly by Ohlins. Certainly not disputing your advice, merely trying to ascertain a source.;)

    Hi @nigelrb,

The info re the 2020 front Ohlins was earlier in this thread - https://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/new-‘blade-for-2020.38128/page-57 See scanned Honda service bulletin.

    Cheers,

    Ian

Thanks very much for that, Ian. I do recall that information being posted. I'd actually copied it and saved it but had focused more on the 'carbon parts' and 'running in' which we were discussing at the time.

This does amplify a major let down by Honda UK and its dealers (specifically mine in this case) in not relaying this information to purchasers of the bike. This is a Honda service bulletin and not easily accessible to the public (thanks to @RC45 for posting) and therefore the average Joe, or Josephine, would have no idea of this requirement. In my case the two years will definitely arrive first so I'll now keep it in mind. Cheers also to @Ritchierich for mentioning.
