Yep I’ve been looking at them, I first saw the helmets on FB then read their promo which was about some basic changes they made something like pinlock and adjustments to the visor opening. I thought their improvements were basic and pretty crap as you would expect any new helmet to have stuff like that as standard, it’s hardly ground breaking changes. So want to see what others think before I spend x amount of money on a helmet from them. Not worth blowing money on something that turns out to no better then a pot to piss in

I do like the paint schemes on these, but they do look cheap and are well pricey. I think Ruroc were originally ski helmet makers and then recently ventured into bike helmets, hence pinlock being a new thing!
For the price, I'd rather stick to a bike branded Shoei or Arai. Just my opinion.

I know its British and we should support them.. but they are noisy, and look/feel cheap.

I would stick to a known brand tbh. For now at least until they have evolved a little more.

Ahh yes that was one of the things they mentioned. That they had improved wind drag causing buffering on their old helmets. I thought surely a good company would have tested their designs and ensured they weren’t crap from the start.

they do look nice but the fact the reviews are not that positive for long term owners has put me off. I’ll stick to Shoei and HJC always done well for me

A colleague of mine has an Atlas....unique looking/style but nothing really substantial apart from that. One of the "reviews" I read listed "helmet ventilates well" as a pro...I'd expect all lids to do that.

For the money they charge, I'd get something from the reputable brands, Shoei, Xlite, HJC, Arai etc. If you dont care about having the latest colour scheme, you can pick up stuff at a huge discount.

A friend has recently had alot of issues with them and said the customer services department is awful. The visor mechanism has rubbed away the sides of the helmet and scratched the top of his lid, not the best visor design. They offered him a part refund firstly, then an exchange for a different color scheme (like that solves the design problem ha ha). Eventually he managed to get a full refund after many emails back and forth.
