I do the same with any bike I get (return it to stock), I like them that way , bit boring though it is, have got the Workshop Manual too if you need it
Thanks for passing on, isn't that the 2004/2005 one though. Code for 2006/2007 is 00x37-MFL-6000. Had problem before with some parts from a bike where bike was a registered later in 2006 but was actually an RR5
Nope it come with my then new RR6 that was eventually nicked, there is confusion of how Honda produce these books. The pn you quote is for an RR8, my manual covered the bikes from RR4-7 but the clues in the date on the back 6-01-2006 for a 2006 model which stayed the same details for RR6 & 7, RR4-5 were published earlier, so as a guide a manual showing printed in 2005 is for the model year 2006 etc etc . If you look a Fatboys PDF above it’s not an RR7 but a RR8, so that manual shows printed 2007 but is for the 2008 model.
