I had a great day and kept the bike shiney side up :dance3: Easytrack where very well organised, very helpful and I would recomend them to anyone novice inter or advanced. Started off in the novice group on the evening session learning the track (not very well as I went grass tracking at hall bends  ), but realised getting the lines right was priority as I had all tuesday to work on speed  Day two was interesting, had problems with the bike !!! The clocks 10 amp fuse kept on blowing and the engine was running very poorly, with some help from the guys there I disconnected the PCV and the Digigear and it was still blowing, so finaly fitted a 15 amp fuse which lasted the day ? Going into honda this week for a check ? Once the bike was up and going again went out with one of the instructors who was fantastic, When I got back in we had a chat and I was asked to go in the Advanced group  The rest of the day was great, really injoyed it, would reccomend it to anyone. Anyway here are some pics
nice pics. still pissed there was no pro photographer at my pembury TD but hoping to get some as nice as yours soon Looks like a cracking day
What were you on/which group did I say Hi, talked to quite a few people it was a very freindly bunch although I felt out of my league on the first day
I was only there during the morning on the Tuesday. I knew quite a few people there so was just watching. I never actually saw you by your bike though or I would have said hi lol I need a track bike would love to take the blade on the track but I don't think I have the balls after I smashed my 600rr up at Mallory.
It was a worrying time especially as it was wet in the morning. But by the end of the day I put in a 1.49 (not great I know but not bad on a road bike) You have to take the blade on track it is amazing it is so fast down the straight I could not belive it. Was giving a few track bikes a hard time too. Did you see the purple gbmoto blades in the morning, Palmer passed me on the straight I thought my engine had just fallen out lol those boys are so quick, and they where just running in the engines. I was flying the flag with my 1000rr stickers one on the bike one on the Lid lol
Those purple blades were only running 1.50's when I was timing them! 1.50 is a resonable time for your first visit there.
They really stepped it up in the afternoon where running the engines in during the morning sessions apparently. he is running second in the bsb superstock at the moment, nice lad had a chat in the morning
Good work over the mountain mate, you look nice and comfortable, great track, just a bugger to get there from S.Wales
It took 6 hours in the van from somerset, but it was worth every second lol Thanks I felt great by the end of the day the bike is amazing on track and the new metzler K3's are the best tyres I have ever had, so much grip you could do anything you wanted and the response was instant.
I know what you mean mate, it all makes sense when your out on the track, and well worth the effort just like Anglesey really, if you havent been there put it on your list mate
Good pictures & progress by the sounds of it lines are key there as its narrow. I had an instructor give some pointers helped alot. Cadwell is my favourite track so far shame its not local would be there all the time
You are spot on there, I was awful to start off with, it is one of those tracks that when you get the lines right it flows perfectly, get it wrong it is very unforgiving as my grass tracking pointed out to me !
