Just trying out another angle on the cam, need the weather to change and get a track day booked so it can get used in anger, going to post this one on you tube if you lot think it wont cause me to get arrested lol ?
Ahh, no matter how you resample it, you still can't beat a Pete Townshend riff. I didn't see you doing anything illegal there J. Looked like about 59 on the single carriage, national speed designated areas and not one double white in sight. I'm just freaked at how easy a £3.00 app makes such a brilliant job of what it used to take me three recorders, four monitors a sound system and an extremely sweary weekend. It looks superb mate.
It is fantastic Ken, but what you professionals can do is much, much better than a short clip with a music track laid over
That was the suction cup on the fairing and the closed back door mount which does sound good with no music overlay will try put one on with just the bike sound if you like
You'd think, but not at all. Single camera editing is just a series of clips stitched together. Fancy transitions are all bought in and, frankly, naff. An almost subliminally short cross fade to stop the jar to the eyes from a cut shot, to make it smooth and, IMO, the most important aid to the editors art, the ability to pick the right sounds to overlay the footage. You can't dance without the right music. The video sequence on our website was all done on a single Panasonic Lumix still camera. When they showed the chase sequence from Bullitt to Lalo Schiffrin and asked him to score it, apparently, he listened to the charger and the mustang and said "It's already done". He was one of the best film scores there were, and that's why. So far, the ones you've picked are spot on. Just watch what you post on YouTube for their copyright rules. I don't use it so I don't know how they regulate it. I can get you access to a pro suite if you fancy it. LOL. And don't forget. This is what Dan teaches for a living.
They will not let this one be released in the states and a few others due to the soundtrack, they will here but they can add adverts, I guess in favour of the people who own the copyrights on the track, they seem to have it covered for you, which is one less thing to worry about I would like that Ken, dont suppose you know of a good windows based editing suite as tried windows live (crap) and a few others none come close to the cheap Imovie app !

Mac OS have always been ahead of the game with video editing. Every affordable wintel software I've tried is buggy asf uck no matter how much I soup up my machine. Things like the iPad are much better at redirecting resources where they're needed. Example: I spent last Sunday morning going through the msconfig on my photo editing PC, disabling crap that was doing nothing but hogging RAM. When I started, it was using 889mb just displaying the desktop. When I finished, there was nothing different about the running of the machine but it was only using 660mb. Still way too much but so much better.
I always seem to get quite a bit of vibration when using the suction mount on the side of the fairing and also quite a bit of wind noise. I keep meaning to try the back door with slots in, but expect that this will give even more wind noise, but probably a better engine sound.
I was amazed how smooth the picture quality was on the fairing and my helmet, tried looking back stuck to the seat cowel, it was awful, mainly due to the shite fit from the OE unit. Not tried the door with windows yet, but if it drys out I will give it a blast
Are the illegal ? Mcn teaching video was on a public roundabout ? And still in control ? Wheelies yes knee downs ?? Any thoughts from others ?? Not being funny blags just always wandered about this one
I bought a Go Pro 2 in Canada a few weeks ago but still haven't used it, I'll give it a go tomorrow if its dry, I also have a mac book pro so I'll see what a total novice can throw together.
