So big up 1000RR and its members , You are awesome ,I apologise again for m y absence and i promise i will be back in force , Modding like crazy again as soon as possible Cheers Dan
Take it easy dude. I'd say we've all got your back, but apart from it being a crap pun, until next week nobody'd really want it.
Will do Ken , cheers . Quick question mate .... 50mm F1.4 compared to a 50mm f1.8 , Is the difference worth the jump in price ?
Good luck for the op mate, glad you and your son have had some quality time together before the op, he sounds like a real credit to you supporting his dad through a tough time like this I think I speak for us all when I say we will be happy to have you back full time..... We miss ya fella ! also we need some more ideas for mods and soon
Cheers Jamie .. Alot of my mates are doing track days this year so i may be Going down the track bike with day time MOT look or possibly an endurance style with just 1 light so should be a busy winter getting her ready for next summer
glad it's finally come mate, but thoughts are with ya! take it easy and get on the mends soon... still same hospital? they told you how long it is you will be kept in?
The problem with the f1.4 is when you're shooting at f1.4 the corners of the image drops off in both focus and distortion. The depth of field of focus for the lens is reduced by a factor that's out of proportion to the extra stop you gain. It's a great bit of glass but it's one advantage over the 1.8 is also its achilles heel. I can't remember whether your camera is a full sized chip or not, but, funnily enough, the smaller chips can get more out of this kind of lens as it's image circle is smaller so it only uses the central part of the glass. I'd be tempted to save my money frankly.
Cheers pal , Yeah same Hospital and same ward again but a different surgeon . How long I'm in depends on how i heal . After the op im gonna be in intensive care for 2 days . I gotta have a drain pipe in my side to release blood and prevent bruising , ( sick !! ) I have to be on my back whilst that is in but its only for 2 days . As soon as the drain is removed i can go down to the normal ward and ill start of flat on my back with the remote for the bed tilt in my control . I gotta ease my self up slowly and when im sat up right i can start learning to walk again lol . as soon as im mobile i can go home and recover there . They reckon 5 to 8 days which is amazing compared to the 6 months on my back i was faced with when they offered me surgery when i was 16 . Gonna look like this when im done Plus im going to be 1 to 2 inches taller ...Weheeeeeeyyy ha ha
Yeah its not a full frame camera . Cheers mate , Saving for the 1.4 was my initial plan so that confirms it
Andrew mate , I knew i missed somebody of the list . You are responsible for my last 3 or 4 mods mate !! ha ha cheers fella .. Did i hear right in that your selling the bike ?
No plans to sell the bike mate, wires have been crossed somewhere. ( I did comment on a how much is it worth thread, and said i'd be wanting x amount without my dymags) I was a bit gutted a few weeks back when I punctured my rear tyre after around 80 miles and had to get it replaced! I'm just glad we've finally got some weather to use the bike in, it's a shame your going to miss out this year but i'm sure next year will be a whole lot better for you!
Awesome - built in Knox back protector!!! lol that really is some impressive recovery time dude and like you say, such an improvement from when you were younger. fingers crossed for you fella. and as for the two inches, we could all do with that!
Good luck, Dan. Hope you're all sorted out soon. Hopefully we can all help to keep a smile on your face.
