      Hi Arthur,
The rad from the breakers has a leak. I have asked them to supply another or refund. I doubt if they have another one. If I need to get hold of one 06 model, have you any idea where I can try ? They seem like rocking horse poo, and at £630 new it's a bit expensive. Cheers Nige

Your welcome mate! Sounds good I did read why you dyno'd with the baffel in.. shame some people have to give others a hard time.... Oh and ONLY 162bhp....lol however I did wonder why you did not dyno without and then fit the baffel after... however if you want maps for both then I see why, dont forget IF you have PC3 then you could buy the hub and switch and then switch from one map to the other OR if you have PCV just buy the switch and again flick from one to the other when you need. Glad you like the BSB's I love them but take care out there mate the roads are naff! Get some pics up of that system mate.. :) Arthur

      Hi Arthur,
My bike is really pulling now after the new exhaust, PC , air mods etc.etc. Only made 162 bhp, but that was with the baffle in, long story but had to cos of old bill coming round following neighbours complaint. Mark at BSD reckons he can get another 6 bhp at least when I get it out and he re-maps it. Bike now fires out of bends and the Pirelli BSB's are ace.

Thanks for all your help. Nige

Hi Arthur, MCT fitted my Ohlins shock on Thursday. Front forks had new lsprings put in, weight matched oil and front and back both set up. Test ride was good but couldn't push much because a bit slippy. Took her out today on cold but dry road and she is like a different bike.

The HESD didn't come in once, used to get it kick in at least once a ride under acceleration, just shows it was the front forks. The transformation is unbelievable.
I have always been keen to get suspension done as my first big mod, but this has transformed the bike more than any others I have had done.

8 th March the full system goes on, PC and all the air mods plus QA throttle plus custom tune and new Pirellis.........hopefully she will really move then.

Thanks for all your advice, will have to try to sort out getting a quicksifter from you when my bank balance recovers.

      Cheers Arthur

Like a complete Dick, I have overfilled the reserve tank (to the point where it was coming out the overflow, the castrol coolant is very hard to spot :(

Is there a way to drain it off or will it sort itself out on a ride ?

I have the dyno booked on tuesday and dont want to have any problems ?

      thanks arthur

Arthur, check out the new show us your garage thread. Nutty's got this idea for winding Craig up. He's got a ltd edition mick doohan print. One of only ten. She's trying to get eleven people to say they've got one too. Post on and say you've got one and I'll try and rustle up some others.

Tell me about it. I was on the phone to bennetts to insure the 'Blade and the underwriter wouldn't let me upgrade from the Ducati, which they had just paid me in full for. The second I cancelled that policy, they were falling over themselvesto take me. What possible difference can there be?

      Cheers mate

I understand why mate, heres an odd one for you.
A while back I called C Nash and said you are missing my mods on one of my docs, the docs showed no MODS? Anyway I said I wanted it put down that my bike has an exhaust etc fitted... They told me "unless the exhaust ups the value of the bike more than the actual value we would pay in the event of theift etc there is no need to add it, they also say that unless the power is 11% more than the spec its not important?" Well as no bike with in reason ever makes the claimed power even with a system on I let it go.. They make it up as they go along!

Hi Arthur. I've just had a look on the box and it says S-H9B01-C.

      Catchy title, eh.

Cheers Arthur. I'll have a sken and see which unit it is. It's for a 954 RR2. When I test rode it I mentioned to the salesman that it was a bit snatchy when poodling through town and he said it was probably due to the can over fuelling it. I figured that as the insurance had just paid me for the Ducati the fewer mods I presented them the more chance I had of them taking me with the FireBlade, so I thought I'd put the Akra on the shelf for the time being while I regained their trtust a bit.

Hi mate I know of a good number of people who run slip-on pipes with no remap, the only way to put this is to say that some people just don't care or seem to notice any problem, where as I can ride the same bike and pick up on flat sports low end and would have it mapped. You would not do any harm running the slip on as I have seen RR's AFR with many many many pipes and the AFR is never miles out, if we were talking Ducati then you may have reason to rush to the Dyno as the AFR can be wild. If I were you and I felt that I wanted the slip on I would have no problem in running it..if you find you have a large flat spot that bothers you the only way to go is map it..but as I said some do not notice or ride in a way they never sit in the area that causes a problem.. :) What Akra is it mate? Arthur.
